Poetry keeps me warm

Dear Diary,

Everything I want to say about you is

         cliché and true.

Everything I want to say

         gets caught in my throat.

Everything I want

         more than anything

I cannot say. 

I couldn’t sleep so I wrote a poem. It’s about Jeremy.
